Eastern Art Arcade was established in 1972 to import
African Art from Kenya, and now in its 36th year, has
offices in Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa & Tanzania
and is one of the oldest African Art Wholesalers in the
United States.
We are also agents for Local Small scale Businesses &
Co-Operatives based in Sub-Saharan, Central and West Africa
and help them market their products exclusively in the USA.
Our customer base consists of major retail chain stores,
boutique’s, gift stores, museums, zoo’s catalog companies
and home decorators to mention a few.
With over 35 years of experience wholesaling African Art
products in the USA we are able to meld two disparate worlds
into one that combines both experiences. Our philosophy is
to deliver quality product with outstanding service to meet
or exceed our customers' expectations.
Our products are made on the principles of Fair-Trade
which is an organized social movement and market-based
approach to alleviating global poverty and promoting
sustainability. The movement promotes the payment of a fair
price as well as social and environmental standards in areas
related to the production of a wide variety of goods. It
focuses in particular on exports from developing countries
to developed countries, most notably handicrafts.
